Walkingtrail Geopark 1
You will find Geopark 1 on the mountain between the village Supetarska Draga and San Marino. The entrance to Geopark 1 begins at the church Sv. Petar in Supetarska Draga. From the parking place at the church it is approx. 600 meters to the entrance of the route.
From there the route starts and goes upside the mountain, through and under trees, the small path will lead you to the top. You will find an open space after approx. 1km from the moment that you started at the beginning.
A really nice walk uphill the mountain.
The route is in total minimal 16km long. So start direct after breakfast and enjoy the beautiful nature with her sounds and colours.
On the route you will not find opportunities to buy drinks or food, only lots of nature and animals.
So take your own food and drink with you, but please do not leave anything behind in the park.
A part of the route goes through and under trees, the other parts are open and free space. So when the sun is shining it can get very warm, so be careful for that.
Take a look at the pictures and you will see, good shoes are really necessary, because the paths are not all even flat. On the route you will find several information places. Those places will tell you something about the place where you are at that moment. Look around you and enjoy it all. When you are lucky you will see incredible nice birds, flowers and other things that you not directly expected to find on Rab.
