Surroundings

The Island Rab lays between the islands Krk and Pag. Rab is the greenest island of them and has the most sun hours from all Europe. Among the series of beautiful sights that Rab offers us, the town of Rab itself stands out. There is always something going on, on the wide and spacious riva (waterfront), where passenger-, pleasure- and fishing boats are moored. It is the town’s main promenade, a place of meetings and journeys. The riva signifies a space in which to move, a connection with the world.

Rab offers us lots of sports and relax possibility's. The beaches and the sea, with its emerald-blue colour, have enchanted many visitors to Rab.

This is true, whether we are talking of the stone beaches, with their proud pines in whose shade they lie, or of the gravel beaches of Barbat and Banjol, or perhaps the sand beaches of Kampor and Lopar. But also Suha Punta and Supertarska Draga have beaches, rock- and sand beaches.

Or perhaps your attention will be most drawn by a beach at the back of a quiet, isolated bay, which can only be reached by boat, your own boat or taxiboat.

Naturists, believers in the culture of body freedom, will also find places on the island. Rab is open to all, and so the beaches of Rab offer an abundance of opportunities for fun and recreation for those looking for an active holiday.
Look on the map of island Rab or ask for information where the naturist beaches are.
